Programme Manager (Climate)
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000
Location: UK (Remote/hybrid working)
Jellyfish Recruitment are working with a leading not-for-profit organisation who are now looking for a Climate Programme Manager to join.
This important role will involve developing & enhancing international climate programmes, helping to reduce environmental impacts, & drive carbon emissions reduction efforts. You will be given full autonomy to shape impactful climate initiatives including numerous opportunities for your professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of climate programmes, including management of robust monitoring & evaluation systems to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Build strong partnerships with local organisations, collaborating on programme design, technical expertise, & implementation.
- Utilise climate expertise to develop new programmes & offer training to partners.
- Ensure all activities meet the latest international safeguarding & protection standards.
- Collaborate with government bodies & NGOs to enhance the quality & impact of programmes.
- Integrate climate awareness & environmental protection into humanitarian & livelihood programmes.
About You:
- Proven experience in climate resilience & programme management, with knowledge of humanitarian &/or international development including MEAL processes.
- Experience in carbon emissions reduction & resource mobilisation.
- Understanding of gender theory & inclusion practices.
- Experience working in diverse & international contexts (willing to travel overseas for short term trips).
- Ability to collaborate with & support Fundraising teams.
